Be coached to recovery by best selling author Ali Kerr and her team
The Bulimia Help Method is the highest rated book for treating bulimia nervosa on Amazon.com. Now we are offering people one-to-one coaching based on the principles of the Bulimia Help Method.
A short video on how the coaching program has impacted our clients lives.
This coaching program is all about taking action to overcome your eating disorder at its core, treating the source (not the symptoms) so that you can rebalance your body, stop bingeing, develop a normal healthy relationship with food, and finally begin living the bulimia-free life that you’ve been dreaming of.
Together with your coach you’ll work together to formulate a series of practical, manageable, step-by-step strategies and goals that will enable you to break down your recovery barriers and allow you to work through your biggest challenges and struggles.
Benefits of the coaching program:
One-to-one personal support: The Bulimia Help Coaching Program has been designed specifically to provide you with the highest level of individualised support, guidance and accountability for your recovery.
Someone who really understands: Our certified coaches have many years experience coaching individuals to recovery. In addition all of our coaches have all suffered with bulimia nervosa in their past and have fully recovered using the principles of the Bulimia Help Method. They understand the fear, the anxiety, the secrecy, the loneliness and the pain of living with bulimia because they have lived it too.
Stay on track for recovery: Because our coaches work so closely with you, we learn to know when you're off track. Whether you have a slip up, a relapse or just a day where you are fed up with recovery, your coach will be there to support you through the ups and downs and keep you on track.
My name is Ali Kerr, I'm an Nutritional Therapist, author of the best seller The Bulimia Help Method and founder of Bulimiahelp.org, I've been helping sufferers recover from bulimia since 2008.
If you need help recovering from bulimia, I’d like to invite you to apply to Bulimia Help Coaching Program. This is an opportunity for you to work exclusively with myself or my team to recover from bulimia nervosa or binge eating disorder.
Here’s what it's about…
As you probably know, I struggled with bulimia for 10 years and by 2004 I was binge/purging up to 10 times a day. I suffered with anxiety, depression, panic attacks and food fears. I suffered from a range of health problems and most of my top teeth had to be eventually replaced. Just getting through life was a struggle.
Traditional treatment didn’t work for me. I didn’t respond to therapy, I didn’t want to be medicated and I couldn’t afford in patient treatment. With nothing left to lose I took my recovery into my own hands and I spent years researching, testing and figuring out what really works for bulimia recovery.
I discovered the main reason I wasn’t recovering was because I wasn’t tackling the root cause of the issue.
I discovered that you are not broken, weak or faulty because you binge on food. You are normal and more importantly you can fully recover.
Let me explain... powerful binge cravings are a natural and normal side effect of food restriction. If you have ever restricted your food intake in your past (e.g. a diet, a detox program, cutting out carbs, etc) or over exercised, then you may have triggered a primitive natural survival mechanism we call "primal hunger". This leads to powerful binge urges, an insatiable appetite, food obsession, depression and anxiety. Your body thinks you are in the middle of a famine and it is doing everything it can to make you eat lots of food. By purging your food, you remain malnourished and your body is stuck in "primal hunger" mode.
To recover, you need to remove the "primal hunger" state and you need to teach your body that the famine is over. In my coaching program I focus on giving you clear, practical steps to remove your primal hunger, stop bingeing and purging, relearn normal eating and learn how to overcome bulimia for life.
The challenge of recovery…
I know what it takes to achieve life-long recovery from bulimia. I have lived with bulimia for 10 years and I have spent that last 7 years helping sufferers to recover. I know all the bumps and challenges that you may face along the way.
Recovery doesn't happen overnight. It is a gradual process and this can be the REAL challenge when trying to recover yourself.
This is why the majority of people need support, and this is why I’ve created The Bulimia Help Coaching Program.
What you can expect from BHM coaching program:
An action based approach to recovery
The Bulimia Help approach to recovery is different from traditional treatment. We won't ask you to analyze your past behaviors or dig up old pains. Mostly because we find it isn't necessary for recovery. Instead of undertaking deep analysis, we focus on moving forward and taking practical action steps to meet your recovery goals.
A genuine connection in recovery
One of the things people say they love about our coaching program is “having someone who has been there, who really understands and cares”. All of our coaches are deeply passionate about your recovery from bulimia because they also suffered from bulimia in their past and have recovered using the Bulimia Help Method.
A safe, supportive, non-judgmental environment
Coaching provides a safe, supportive environment where you can talk openly, candidly without fear. This is the one place where you can be fully open and honest about where you are at and how you are feeling without fear of being judged.
We will NOT treat you as though your are broken or faulty.
We do not believe you are broken, weak or faulty because you suffer from bulimia. In fact we truly believe you have everything you need within you right now to fully recovery. The role of your coach is to nurture and to encourage you to discover your own inner strength and resilience. Trust me, you are stronger than you realize!
Full confidentiality and privacy
We respect your privacy and anything you do tell us is kept private. The word “bulimia” will not appear on any credit card statements and we will not be sending you any emails with the word “bulimia” in the title. The only people that need to know that you are on the program is you, your doctor and your coach.
"This is my life’s work, and there’s nothing more important to me than helping people like you overcome bulimia. It takes time and dedication, but please believe me when I say you can achieve a full 100% recovery. When you have an someone right there by your side guiding you through one of the hardest challenges of your life, your chances of succeeding vastly improve." - Ali Kerr - Founder of Bulimia Help
Some Feedback for our Coaching program:
"There is so much that I love about coaching. Recovery can seem daunting on your own but your coach meets you where you're at in your recovery and breaks down the recovery process into small, manageable goals. The result is that you end up with a recovery program that is designed just for you and you have an amazing ally in your coach, who provides support, encouragement and accountability.
"My coach set me challenges that I thought were beyond me, eg stopping binge grazing at night, I could never have done it alone, but with small guided steps and patience my coach helped me eradicate compulsive binge grazing at night. It's wonderful to be free.
All in all, this program is amazing. I just had my first relapse after 5 weeks and I see how much I need the support right now to not feel like I'm at square one. This program is helping most because my coach is someone that has been there and done that and still succeeded.
If you want to improve your self-love and self-confidence and simultaneously move towards making a full recovery then the Coaching program can help you do that (I sound like I’m off one of those Danoz ads hahaha), but truly I did find so much value in joining the Coaching program.

For 46 years until recently I've been a bulimic.
That's a long time to be anything.
The summer that I graduated from college, I tried to kill myself.
I could not live with the fact that I could not stop being this way. It just destroyed me that I couldn't stop.
Now I am sixty.
I have seen more doctors and been in more programs than you can imagine, all to no avail.
I signed up to coaching and was assigned my coach.
A kinder, more encouraging and more knowledgeable person I cannot imagine.
She led me out of a fiery inferno to a place where the anguish stopped and I could heal my wounds.
I believe my respect for her unwavering care and commitment was a major part of my recovery.
Also every other facet of the program, but she was my rock. I am not the same person I was.
Now I am accomplishing things I had worked so, so, so hard for my whole life, only to splat myself on a brick wall of failure.
Bulimiahelp.org has literally saved my life, physically, mentally and in that elusive portion of our psyches, the soul.
I am so grateful, I cannot in any way express the depth of my feelings.
If you are suffering, sign up. Every part of the program will help you, and the support is unlimited.
Take it from an old timer, it is the best of the best.
Our coaching packages:
Which coach package should I choose?
Unlimited Email Coaching is ideal for those who like to write. So if you’re generally more comfortable writing down your thoughts and feelings rather than talking about them this is a great option for you. Unlimited Email coaching is also ideal for busy people as there are no set appointments. Even if you are extremely busy you’ll find that it takes no time at all to send your coach a quick email (using your phone if you wish) whenever you have 5 minutes free.
Weekly Coach Call is ideal for those who prefer to communicate directly with someone regarding their eating disorder and are more comfortable openly talking about their thoughts and feelings.
Also included with Bulimia Help Coaching:
Combined with coaching you will also be given full access to our flagship program, The Bulimia Help Method Home Treatment Program, at no extra cost (value $297)
The Home Treatment Program is a step-by-step system designed to lead you confidently through recovery, showing you exactly what steps you need to take in order to break free from bulimia and binge eating once and for all. The program is delivered via 10 In-depth Video Modules
Compared to other coaching programs our fees are very reasonable. Coaching demands a great deal of time and dedication and it involves a degree of emotional investment and honesty that tends to transcend most typical jobs. We are always flexible and we can arrange payment plans that fit your current situation. Let me know via email if you need a payment plan worked out for you.
Seven Day Money Back Guarantee
It’s very important to us that you are happy with the coaching service I provide, so although you do pay for your first month of coaching when you sign up, I do provide a seven day refund policy. This means that if you’re not happy for any reason (or no reason at all) within the first 7 days, you can request a full and immediate refund, no hassle, no questions asked. All we ask is that you are serious about giving coaching a real chance before signing up because we will spend a lot of time getting to know you and working on your personal recovery plan in the first week of your membership.
No long term contract
You are free to cancel your coaching membership at any time, whether that is before or after the initial 7 day refund period. There is no long term commitment whatsoever. Your payments are managed by your Paypal account so you always have full control. We never have access to your credit card information.

Everyone is welcome to apply. And even if we don’t have room for you immediately, we will keep all applications on file in case future spaces open up.
1 Fill out the form below (Please be completely honest)
2 You’ll get a response from me within 48 hours.
It is never too late to take your life back, to regain your healthy metabolism and an ability to be 'normal' around food again without binging or purging or feeling the need to eat everything and anything in sight.
The most amazing people I have met are those who have known suffering, hardship, stuggle, loss, and have found their way out of the depths and kept focus on what is most important to them. They have learnt acceptance and learnt now have a deeper appreciation and compassion for life and themself. In recovery you will discover the amazing person you are without the shackles of bulimia. Recovery is so worth it, but mostly I want you to know that YOU are worth it.
If you want me to help you overcome your bulimia you are welcome to submit an application. I hope we get a chance to meet and I look forward to working with you. To your recovery!
P.S. This program is application only, but please do apply. Everyone is welcome.
Frequently Asked Questions…
Q: But I am scared to go into recovery!
A: Starting recovery is a very emotional decision. I understand change is scary! I promise it's not as scary as you might think it is though. Many of you use bulimia as a comfort during times of stress. Many are worried that they won’t be able to cope without having a binge fix. That’s ok. I get that. This is a big part of what I do.
Q: How long do I need to be in coaching for?
A: Bulimia Help Coaching is on a month-by-month basis. There is no long term contracts. Some people will see good progress after 1-2 months, and that’s fantastic, but most people find that it takes about 3 months to see real solid progress. Ultimately you can choose how long you wish to stay on the program
Q: Who is the program for?
- You are ready to make changes in your life and you are ready to end your battle with bulimia
- You are ready to put your recovery first.
- Are you ready to move forward and let go of your destructive behaviors.
- Are you willing to confront food fears and explore outside your comfort zone.
- You understand BHM coaching is not a quick fix solution to recovery - it takes time and commitment.
- You are aware that the BHM is not a weight loss program, it is a recovery program.
- Finally, as places to work with coaches are very limited, the coaching program is only for those who are genuinely committed to their recovery.
Q: Who is coaching NOT for?
A: Coaching isn't for everyone. This program isn't for people who:
- Need emergency counseling.
- Feel suicidal or suffer with severe depression.
- Are not medically stable and need intense medical treatment.
- Your doctor does not recommend that this program is right for you
- Are under 18 years old.
- If your BMI is very low (e.g less than 18.5) or you have been diagnosed with anorexia.
- Have been pushed into recovery treatment by someone else.
Q: Why do people need coaching?
A: There's a huge difference between knowing what to do, and actually doing it. Nothing beats having an expert who is 100% committed to your success from start to finish. Someone who's always supporting you, holding you accountable, and always there - every step of the way. And if you fall of track, they will be right there with you to help you recover right away. That in itself makes all the difference.
Q: Do you accept clients based in American and Australia?
A: Yes. I have clients based all around the world. Anyone is welcome to apply - however spaces are limited.
Q: What is the difference between a Coaching and Therapy?
A: Therapy focuses more on analyzing your past behaviors and introspection. Coaching focuses more on moving forward and taking action.
Q: If I get accepted, am I obligated to join?
A: There is no obligation at any time to join.
Q: Is there a cost involved in the program?
A: Yes, there is a monthly fee of either $347 or $447.
Q: What is your typical client like?
A: There really is no 'typical' person who signs up to our program. We have worked with clients from all across the globe, both women and men, ranging in age from 18-67. The only thing that is typical about the people who sign up to our program is that they are all sick and tired of living with bulimia and they are ready to make changes in their lives.
Q: Have people fully recovered with the help of coaching?
A: Yes! We have witnessed countless success stories since we first launched our coaching program 4 years ago. Our coaches graduate from the BHM coaching program and they leave fully recovered from Bulimia. They are equipped with the tools and knowledge to keep them Bulimia free forever.
